Who We Are
Engineered Structures Incorporated (ESI) is a general construction company headquartered in Kennesaw, GA. ESI was founded in 1978 and has completed over 850 projects since its inception. ESI provides distinguished construction services in the Southeast. ESI also holds a general contracting license in Florida as Engineered Structures of Florida and is an authorized distributor of Star Building Systems.
What We Do
Our services include design consultation, design/build, general construction, construction management, and renovation. ESI’s projects have included municipal, educational, worship, institutional, commercial, industrial, recreational, office, military facilities, and more.
Our Mission
Our mission is to provide next-level design and build contracting that is directly related to the owner’s vision of their project. We believe that value, quality, and durability is essential for each project. For this reason, we self-perform portions of each job to keep costs down while maintaining a team of reputable subcontractors that have premium quality at the right price. We strive to keep a unified approach between the owner, contractor, and the architect from start to finish and are committed to maintaining customer satisfaction with our work for years after the final inspection is complete.

Tommy Gravitte is from Rome, GA. Tommy received his Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 1995. Tommy Began working for ESI in 1998. Tommy takes tremendous pride in the design-build process that ESI has spent 43 years cultivating and is committed to excellence and creativity in each project. Tommy enjoys spending time on his family farm, model airplanes, college sports, and being with his wife Amy and their 7 children.

Amy Gravitte is from Dalton, GA and has been working for ESI for the past 9 years. Amy received her Associate’s in Applied Science in Business from Dalton State college in 1994, Associate’s of Music from Georgia Highlands College in 2020 and will complete her Bachelor’s of Music Education from Shorter University in 2022. Amy is also a band director for North Metro Music Education in Marietta, GA. Amy enjoys spending time with her husband Tommy and their 7 children, reading, singing, and playing flute.

Holt Garrard is from Coral Gables, FL. Holt graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 1957 and established ESI in 1978. Holt has over 40 years of experience as a Professional Engineer. Holt has participated in over 500 projects since the company’s inception. Holt’s favorite project is Ampacet in Cartersville, GA. Holt enjoys working in the office and spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Tucker Cleveland is from Rome, GA and started working for ESI in 2021. Tucker is studying business administration at Georgia Highlands College. In his free time, Tucker owns his own lawn care business that operates in Rome, GA called Cleveland Lawncare.Tucker enjoys fishing, trading stocks, and spending time with his wife.

Bill Dean is from Cherokee County and has been providing ESI with construction management services for over 50 years.
